Science week
A fantastic Science week was had here in BVS. The week kicked off with an information session for 6th years from The Irish Blood Transfusion Board. Here students learned all about the benefits of Giving Blood.
Our first years participated in an Element Hunt. Second years were involved in creating a device, where one form of energy was converted to another, under objective 7 of the physical world in their JCT programme.
Our third years enjoyed a Science quiz while out Transition Years are currently competing a programme called Sustainability for Education.
Finally our fifth years engaged in Biodiversity walks.
