The BVS Athletics and Cross Country Teams are currently run by Mrs Walsh. Last year they competed in the South Leinster Championship in Carlow IT, with Rachel Gardiner having great success coming 1st in the shotput and 2nd in the discus. She then went on to be placed 2nd in the Leinster Finals in shotput and 4th in discuss. This year there will be exciting opportunities for students to represent the school in a variety of track and field events including, 100m, relay, shot put, javelin, hurdles, high jump and cross country.
